Under the high patronage of the President of France, François HOLLANDE, the FIC was organised in Lille, France on January 21-22, 2014 jointly by the French National Gendarmerie, CEIS and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais Regional Council.
O’SERVICE2 advised FIC 2014 organizers to offer digital interactivity throughout the exhibition. The #FIC2014 hashtag was a Trending Topic on Twitter in France during the event’s two days with over 20,000 #FIC2014 tweets (4-times larger than the previous year.)
More than 3000 participants were able to scan an O’SERVICE2 AERVA branded QR code on the back of their badges and land on a responsive O’SERVICE2 web page allowing them to answer in real time with Yes or No to the following questions:
Real time variation of results was displayed during plenary sessions thanks to Aerva’s Poll2Screen capability.
All tweets containing the #FIC2014 hashtag were monitored and moderated by the event’s organizers via Aerva’s web moderation engine. Approved tweets were displayed in real time during the three Plenary sessions.
Guillaume Tissier, CEIS General Manager, was quoted saying at the end of the event: “I love this small box”, referring to Aerva’s digital player sitting at the video controller’s table, “The highly interactive and engaging capabilities of Aerva’s software were highly praised throughout the event by organizers and participants alike.”
Hadi El-Khoury, Founder and Manager of O’SERVICE2, says: “Showcasing such a robust, secured and resilient Digital Out Of Home solution during a major Cybersecurity event in France is a pride and a proof that Cybersecurity isn’t a failure as long as we build our software with agility and a security minded team, as skilled as Aerva’s.”
Looking forward to #FIC2015!
